Toen DNV de DNV 2.7-1-certificeringsnota herzag, werden de meest uitgebreide wijzigingen aangebracht in de vereisten voor hijsbanden.De sling is een vier of
vijfpotige hijsband met staalkabel voorzien van een viervoudig samenstel en sluitingen.Elk onderdeel van de hijsband is gespecificeerd naar de capaciteit van de
